MPLAN Mag’s pub events and co-creation workshops are participatory platforms designed to connect diverse perspectives on cities and the built environment. Bringing together designers, planners, researchers, and curious participants, these sessions create an open setting where ideas can emerge organically from conversation and be developed collectively.

Rather than following a lecture-based format, the workshops are structured around interaction and co-creation. Participants engage with specific themes or sites through discussion, sketching, mapping, and light prototyping, allowing ideas to take shape through dialogue and collaboration. The process itself, where multiple viewpoints intersect, is considered just as valuable as the outcomes.

Hosted in informal pub or cafe settings, the workshops intentionally lower barriers of hierarchy and formality, encouraging more candid, experimental exchanges. As a result, they function not only as spaces for idea generation, but also as catalysts for new collaborations and fresh ways of thinking about urban environments.
