The launch of MPLAN Mag Issue 01 was held at Omved Gardens in London, bringing together over 100 guests from the fields of urbanism, architecture, design, and publishing. The evening combined a reception with a programme of talks exploring the ideas behind the magazine — how cities are written about, and why that writing matters.
I was centrally involved in bringing the event together: supporting the programming, coordinating logistics, and helping run the night itself. It was the first public moment for Mplan, and the goal was for the space and the atmosphere to reflect what the magazine is trying to be — considered, open, and a little less formal than most industry events tend to be.
